What’s been happening:

A lot has happened since I graduated in 1984. I worked for a year in Greensburg, PA at a small engineering firm before I accepted an offer with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation. In May of 2009, it will mark my 2oth year with PENNDOT! Wow! Seems like yesterday! Since I been with PENNDOT I have held various positions within the Department. I started my career in the Physical Testing Section of the Department's Materials and Testing Lab. I then moved onto a brief stint in the Evaluation and Research Section, testing new products for highway construction. After that I was reassigned to head the Concrete, Aggregate, Soils and Cement Testing in the Materials and Testing Lab. In late 2003 I took a voluntary transfer to the Structural materials Unit where I have been since. In August of 2008 I married Kathy Barth who is also a PSU graduate. Kathy and I have know each other since the first grade! We both enjoy PSU very much. In fact our wedding was a PSU wedding theme complete with PSU Tickets for admittance and an appearance by none other than JoePa!! Okay it was a cardboard cut-out but we will take what we can get. Kathy and I have bought a house in White Oak, PA and have spend most of our time trying to fix it up and make it "our own." We try and get to PSU as often as we can. We usually make it to 1 or 2 football games a year! GO STATE!!!
